This is the best cable I have had for the money. Don't ever pay more than for an HDMI cable. I bought 2 in case one didn't work and the first one hasn't failed so I have an extra one as a backup now. I paid less than for 2 cables and they work just as good as a 0 dollar one.

Good cable but not the best picture quality wise
I bought this good cable in September 2009. I bought this cable because of the cheap price and all the good reviews. However, I decided to rate this cable now because I recently bought a Monster MC800HD-1M Advanced High Speed HDTV HDMI Cable so I can do the comparisons.

There is no doubt that this is a good HDMI Cable especially for the price. However, good is good and there is excellent like this Monster MC800HD-1M Advanced High Speed HDTV HDMI I bought. So, if you're on a budget and want 8 out of 10 when it comes to picture quality buy this cable but if you're like me and want the best of the best then go with the Monster cable. I've rated it 10 out of 10.

It's true that the Monster cable is overpriced but it's false to say that they're in the same quality category. Unless, you have tried with your own eyes you can't judge. I did and this cable is good but not excellent. I give it 3 stars now that I experienced another cable.


Seemed good watching it closely now...
This cable seemed just fine and great for the money at first. However, just today I noticed sound cut out on my PS3 while playing a DVD for a bit. I exited the DVD, and back on the Playstation menu I heard sound again. Then I played the DVD again, resuming from the same spot with no sound and sound was working again. I can't confirm that it was absolutely the cable, BUT, I'm keeping an eye on it now. Going for the Amazon cables for this next purchase just to be safe.

Sima SIP-3 Ultimate International Travel Adapter Plug Set

I bought two of these to charge my (U.S.) camera and laptop in New Zealand. It takes an unexpected amount of pressure to fit the U.S. plugs into the Sima adapter, I'm not sure why. That's not really an issue though. The adapters fit into the NZ wall sockets fine.

One of the adapters I bought works well; the other one, however, takes a good amount of fidgeting before any charge passes through it. (It seems like it wants to be weighted so that the prongs in the wall point slightly upward instead of horizontally.) I tried both adapters with different devices and different wall sockets and confirmed that the problem was the adapter, not some other factor. On closer inspection, the other (better) adapter also exhibits the behavior, although to a significantly smaller extent.

That said, both adapters do work. I'm able to situate the fidgety one so that it doesn't spontaneously interrupt the flow of charge. I've been using them for two weeks.

This unit is great! The quality is very high. Steel cables, strong springs, nothing cheap. It is versatile. It comes with 3 interchangable springs, each with different tension. Good instruction poster and DVD included. I'm pretty strong, and I have yet (if ever) to work up to the strongest spring. LOTS of resistence!

One big plus with this unit - it is only about 18 inches long, and has a nice zippered case that also holds the extra springs. I can throw it in my dufflebag, saddlebag, or wrap it up into my tent pack when I tour/camp around the country on my Harley. Its a great portable workout machine. Great for travel of any kind. Highly recommend. Amazon delivered it fast.

Nice size. I also have the ISO7X which is similar, but longer. I like the fact that this has 3 springs for different levels of strength for more choices. Overall, satisfied with the product.

Compact version of old favorite
The Steel-Bow incorporates many of the features of the original Bullworker, but with several improvements. The compact size is perfect for the traveler and the new option of being able to use springs of differing levels of intensity is a significant development. I used the original model decades ago and am glad to have this much-improved new version. The included DVDs and instruction chart, plus the well-designed carrying-case, make the Steel-Bow a great-value purchase and I recommend it without hesitation.


Not as I expected
When I was a teenager, I had the classic Bullworker that I loved. Thirty 30 years later, I wanted to impress my teenage son with it, but it did not happen. The first two springs are very easy to bow, the third one is si hard to even move in some exercises. Grade: C

hard to get the best fit and thus, the best sound
These are supposed to be great earphones, and they probably are....but without a method of keeping earphones REALLY DEEP in your ear canal, you will never get the best sound possible out of them. What's left is a thin, tinny sound which lacks most, if not all, of the bass. The phones came with several different ear "cushions" or "tips" and none of them were a comfortable fit for me, and none kept the earphones deep enough in my ear to get the deep bass and full response you would want from an expensive item like this. In fact, none of them even kept the earphones in my ears without falling out! I wound up getting "Ear Putty" flexible silicone at the drug store, which I mold to "fit" as best I can. But the odd shape of these makes me think I will never find a method of keeping them deep enough in my ears to ever enjoy the full spectrum of sound available. I can tell that they do deliver good sound by pushing them in with my fingers or palms, but since I can't do that while I'm playing drums on the gig (which is why I bought them), I am resolved to just barely hearing the mix enough to play. Seems like I'll have to spend over a thousand to get real high-end, custom-molded earphones after all. *Sigh*


I love these things!!
I really love these headphones. I have had them for quite a long time with no quality issues whatsoever. Does anyone know if you can purchase replacement double flange tips that come with the earphones originally? I have been unable to find those...

Coleman 6-Day 50 Qt. Ultimate Xtreme Wheeled Cooler

I am always looking for coolers with excellent build quality and that can maintain ice for longer periods of time. I recently got into "5 day" and "6 day" coolers. This is a review of the Coleman 6-Day 50 Quart Ultimate Xtreme Cooler.

When packing coolers, pre-chilled drinks and cubed ice are used. I use cubed ice because it is convenient, but understand that blocked ice maintain much longer than cubed ice. When tested, the Coleman Ultimate Xtreme Cooler kept ice for 60 hours (2 and a half days). Again, I am mindful that without blocks of ice, I cannot expect a full 6-days of ice retention. The Ultimate Xtreme significantly outperformed the older Coleman 48 Quart Cooler that maintained ice for only 24 hours.

The build of the cooler appears to be good. Looking at the cooler, the lid and walls of the cooler appear extremely well insulated. The lid appears to align decently with the body of the cooler, though the front and center of the lid does not appear airtight. Also, the drainage outlet has no significant "locking" feel as my old Coleman 48 Quart did. I noticed that condensation formed along the drainage outlet of the cooler. This is likely due to less insulation around the outlet. Not a big deal, but an inconvenient one as my wood floor got wet during the testing period.

Something to consider about this cooler is the canal on the inside of the cooler that leads to the drainage outlet. The canal is helpful in allowing any water in the cooler to drain almost completely without the need to tip the cooler. However, when packing the cooler, the cans will not line up easily or nicely due to the concave build on the bottom of the cooler due to the canal. Some people will see it as a plus and some will see it as a minus, I am neutral on this. I would recommend taking a look at the inside of the cooler to get a better picture. However, as a previous review mentioned, it would have been nice for the drainage outlet to be on the opposite side of the cooler due to the towing handle was in the direct path of the draining water. In addition, the long handle is just a tad longer than the bottom of the cooler when at rest, which digs into the ground when you park the cooler. So if you are outside, the tip of the long handle will likely dig into the ground, dirtying your handle.

The insulation appears to be an impressive 2-inches. As a result, you definitely notice this in the weight of the cooler. The cooler is hefty, especially when packed with cans and ice. Thankfully, the wheels on the cooler make transporting it easier and appear to work really well.

Overall, the Coleman 6-Day 50 Quart Ultimate Xtreme Cooler has decent build quality and good performance. This cooler is rated a 4.0 out of 5.0, which could be improved if the lid was better aligned with an airtight closure in the front-center of the lid, a more secured drainage valve, improved position of the drainage valve with respect to the long handle, and a little better performance.

I've had mine about six months, made over 25 loaves of bread, a couple of pizza doughs (baked half one day, refrigerating the rest and baking a pizza the next day) and several dough recipes used for coffee cake. I am quite pleased, so far. I made a whole wheat bread recipe from the enclosed booklet, which came out perfect but was a dull loaf and have concentrated on trying to duplicate my personal favorite hand-made whole wheat bread, which I've made for years. Thus, I'm experimenting with the ingredients and having good success (far better than I used to get when making it by hand!), and have virtually perfected the recipe for the Breadman. I used to make a 2 lb loaf, and did that in the Breadman a few times but the pan is short and high and the slices are really too high for my toaster. So, now I cut down on the ingredients and use the 1.5 lb cycle and the bread is toaster-friendly. It actually comes out weighing about 1 lb. 14 oz. I've also made some great rye loaves and a nice pumpernickle, sticking with the 1.5 lb size/cycle.

The pizza doughs, made from the included recipe book, came out perfect. I made pastry doughs from a recipe in the newspaper (twice), and they too came out perfect.

It is important to be very careful to follow the product instructions. Measure ingredients very carefully and add in the order prescribed. I have a small digital scale I use in the kitchen (maximum 17 ounces or so) and I have found this invaluable when I use the Breadman. Instead of taking pains to carefully measure ingredients by volume each time, I have found it much easier to determine once exactly the weight of, for example, one level cup of white flour and then use the scale when I need any amount of white flour in a recipe for the Breadman. I also use the scale when adding liquid ingredients. When adding oil, I don't need to get a measuring spoon oily. I put my small oil bottle on the scale, hit the tare button and start pouring. If it's 1.5 tablespoons oil in the recipe, I stop pouring when the scale says -.70 ounces.

I don't want to have the paddle baked into my loaves, so I always remove it before the last rise cycle.

I took the time to put wide clear tape on the cover (front and back) of the included instruction and recipe book to keep it in good shape.

I had problems getting the Extras function to work, but found a workaround. I called Salton customer service, but the representative said she always just tosses extras in at the start. She thought they are supposed to dump at the beginning of the 2nd knead cycle. Actually, they dump somewhere in the middle of the 2nd knead cycle, when they do dump! I have gotten it to work consistently by pressing the Extras button right after pressing the start button. Actually, for the pumpkin (and sometimes also sunflower) seeds I add to my whole wheat bread I don't think it matters if I add them at the beginning. But for fragile "extras" it would be better to add them later in the process.

I'm so glad I bought this machine. It's saving me so much time. I am enjoying it immensely, and I no longer care when I'm running low on bread. It's just an excuse to have more fun with the Breadman!

In case anyone's curious, I measured the energy usage of the TR2500BC:

Plugged in: 8 watts
Preheat: 3 watts
First knead: alternates between zero and 50-90 watts
Second knead: 110-130 watts
Rise: 8 watts
Bake: 554 watts = 4.62 amps (at 120 volts AC)

And here's my recipe for my whole wheat bread, essentially the same as the one I've made for years and years and finally perfected for use with the Breadman. This comes out perfectly if you make it according to the instructions. Let it cool completely (3 hours is sufficient) before slicing with a sharp knife. To make this like I do you will need a good scale, preferably digital. Add ingredients in the order given and use the 1.5 lb whole wheat cycle. After 2:05, remove the paddle. The bread is finished 1:30 later.

10 oz water (or if using powdered eggs like I do, 11.1 oz water)
1 medium egg (if using powdered eggs, 0.2 oz)
0.5 oz oil
0.2 oz salt
1.3 oz nonfat dry milk (if using regular milk, use 1 cup and reduce water accordingly)
8 oz whole wheat flour
8 oz white flour (I use bread flour, but it's not essential)
1.3 oz sugar
0.45 oz wheat bran
0.9 oz wheat germ
1.5 oz pumpkin seeds
0.17 oz active dry yeast

Works like a charm.
This is the best breadmaker I've ever owned. I have not had any of the problems that other people have encountered. It makes bread exactly as stated in the manual. It's easy to clean and has many wonderful recipes in the manual.

I but this for my 4 Years dauther, becasue she askme for a microscope to see the bacterias, i decide buy not a plastic toy because this could be the diferent to she inspire or discourage in science, you know the first impression is important.
she is to small to use by herself any microscope, that is the reason i but with USB Camera so we can play and learning together, she can chose what she want to see and i can prepare the slice and connect to the computer.

Is a good Microscope for Kiddos and Student until highschool, I would liked fine focus, but for the price was a bestbuy, the USB camera is o.k. i could not used with the 4X Objetive but with the 10X and 40X work o.k.
but if you use the ocular the resolution is great, you can see the red blood cell very clear. i will try to upload some real pictures.
