Logitech Comfort Lapdesk

It's just the right size, weight, stickiness... even the elevated angle. My 15.6" Thinkpad T510 fits perfectly on it and since Lenovo didn't skimp on my laptop's rubber feet, I have no need for the extra ones provided by Logitech. I originally purchased this to replace my classic lapdesk with the beanbag filling which found a new home at work serving as an ad-hoc
keyboard tray. I like the padding on the Logitech better than the micro-bead bag, it doesn't shift and thus change the angle. My old lapdesk would leave my laptop at a weird angle whenever I set it down because the beanbag will just collect any which way it wants. Not this one, nice and predictable.

Extremely convenient and comfy
This is the best thing I've purchased for the last year! I sit with my laptop on the sofa every day now and relax while working :) the laptop doesn't slide down, which is a very convenient feature, and my legs don't hurt from the board, because there is a soft cushion. Also, because it has a little bit curve shape, I put it right between the armchair and computer table, which allows to hide it from kids, but yet, it stays hidden. I love this thing, and already recommended it to all my friends :) Enjoy! :)


Lap desk
With this product it makes it so much easier to use the laptop while sitting on the couch or sitting in bed,etc. We have a 17" HP laptop and it fits perfectly. The rubber pads that come with the product were not needed because the laptop already had them on it.


I may get a Diamond for this!!!
My husband is a web developer, and tweets and fb's, and chirps, and well you get the pic... He LOVES-LOVES-LOVES this lapdesk! Loves all the attributes, and was happier than "a little boy steelin' a weenie" when he opened the box. (I just might get a diamond from this gift). If your man (hubby, son, dad, uncle, friend) has a laptop (whether he be a geek or not) get him this as a gift. Heck treat yourself and have it gift wrapped! 5 stars!!!!!


Light-weight lapdesk
The lapdesk is really comforting to work on. It's light and the back is soft so it doesn't apply hardness. The only downside to it is sometimes when I have my 15" Macbook Pro on it (old model, not unibody) it slides off it, which can be annoying.

In the past 4 years I've used probably 5 of this model keyboard. It's a very great inexpensive keyboard that types relatively quietly, comfortably and smoothly. It's easily got my favorite 'touch' out of any keyboard I've tried, and I've tried a lot.

However, its achilles heel is that it is absolutely horrible where spilling is concerned. One small splash and suddenly your keys will just stop registering. Drying the keys out, removing them, cleaning, etc, is all for naught. If you never spill, great. If you spill once every 6 months, you'll still be great, as it's a keyboard. Because of the very low cost and awesome feel of this keyboard, I stomach having to repurchase one each year, but I wish MS would not lie on the box about this being spill resistant, because it is absolutely the WORST keyboard in terms of spill resistance.

But I guess they win because I still can't find a more comfortable keyboard and I can't beat the price.

Very good keyboard for the price
People often seem to forget this is a rather inexpensive keyboard.

The keys have great feedback when typing, the design is very sleek and appealing. I really love the dedicated calculator button, as I do use that quite often. My only complaint is that it feels a touch cheap in certain aspects. No complaints for the price paid, however.

Love it!
I do a lot of high speed typing doing oral history transcriptions. I was beginning to feel a little wrist discomfort with my old straight keyboard, so I switched to the Microsoft ComfortCurve 2000. Instantly, the wrist pain went away and has not returned. I've only had it two weeks, so time will tell, but so far, I love it! Only problem is, I can't get it to recognize Google Mail when I press the mail key. Otherwise, fine.

i wish i had found this years ago. Logitech hit home when they made this very easy to use keyboard with 4 customizable preset buttons. totally wireless and works like a champ! the mouse buttons can even be customized to certain functions and is very precise. would highly recommend this product to anyone! if your not used to split/ergonomic keyboards it will take a couple days to get used to it but definitely worth it!

Good but...
As a software developer I purchased this keyboard for the wireless freedom and the ergonomic split keyboard. The fact that the wireless mouse came with it was an added bonus. I purchased 2 keyboards, one for the home and one for the office.

The Good:
+ Split keyboard feels great. The keys have a good feel (except for the space bar).
+ The wireless is solid. No problems with connecting or missing keystrokes.
+ Good on battery life.
+ Sleek, looks nice.
+ The arrow keys are the normal inverted T and not the diamond or cross.

The Bad:
- As a software developer I make heavy use of the PageUp, PageDown, Home, End, Insert, Delete cluster and I was not happy to find this cluster has been rearranged. I guess I'll deal.
- The space bar feels a bit dead on both keyboards. It has little resistance when pressed and it doesn't feel as if it's going to spring back to its starting position.

The Ugly:
- The mouse wheel tries to do too much and thus does nothing very well.
- The mouse is so ergonomic that it can only be used with your right hand. Not good if you're a lefty or you switch your mouse hand every once and a while to give it a break.

But it's just not exactly what I was expecting. I think I would like it much better if it were sloped downward a little more.

My Favorite Keyboard Ever
I have had no problems with this keyboard. I love the ergonomic design, and the quality is really great. The combo with the mouse free'd up a usb port for me as well. Overall a great value.

If you are looking for a good headset for a low price then you found it. It more comfortable than the over-the-ear units because over-the-ear units weigh your ear down with prolong usage. The sound quality is just as good if not better than wireless headsets.

Positives:

+Great sound quality
+There's no forgetting to charge the battery like wireless headset (I always forget to charge my wireless headset and bluetooth ear pieces).
+Comfortable during long use.

Negatives:
-There's a cord.

It's a must buy for people spending long hours on the phone obviously for ergonomic reasons. If you can get over the cord then this is a good purchase over other companies like Plantronics.

HP Wireless Comfort Mobile Mouse (Espresso)

I got this mouse about six months ago. I got it because: it had a small sensor, it had side buttons, and it matched my laptop. The sensor is great because you can leave it in you laptop all the time unlike my previous mouse. I like the shape and size of it so much that it stays plugged into my desktop most of the time though. It will work as soon as you plug it in, but you should install the software in order to customize the buttons. Also you can customize the angle which the mouse works at using the software, great for people who hold it an angle. It has a little power switch, which I hardly use because it seems to use very little battery power. The sensor picks up signals in the other room through the wall, but not at the other end of the house through multiple walls, which would prohibit use the of a computer anyway. It is a very attractive and practical mouse in my opinion.

I really wanted to give this five stars...
After using the mouse for a couple of months I really wanted to give it five stars. The mini USB connector is great. I can leave it hooked up to my laptop without fear that it will be snapped off accidentally.

The installation was very simple. It's comfortable and has generally quick response.

The only problem I've had with it is that the little door on the bottom that holds the battery in kept dropping off. I did solve that problem by putting a piece of transparent tape over the cover so that now it doesn't fall off.

In any case, it's otherwise very satisfactory, and I would probably buy another.

Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 ( D1T-00002 )

We bought 2 of these mice for use with laptops. One computer is running Windows 7, the other is running Windows Vista which I mention only because people have claimed the mouse doesn't work properly with these operating systems. For a plug and play mouse this works great. Personally, I am not interested in using the little magnifying feature (red side button) - I just want a mouse that clicks and scrolls. By just plugging the mouse in to your computer, you will get a mouse that does this with no need to install the software. As far as the software goes I can't comment because I was not interested in installing it.

I have no complaints about this mouse. People complain a bit about the scrolling function - it doesn't make a clicking sound when you scroll (like the older Microsoft mice) but you can definitely feel the clicking of the scroll wheel on your finger.

At the price point you really can't ask for anything more from a mouse. It looks great, feels great, works great, and is easy to "set up" since it's plug and play. Is it a hardcore gaming mouse? No - for that you will want to spend more money. Will it work fine for casual gaming? Certainly.

works great
This mouse works well and was easy to get started, just plug into USB port and go. (A plus for a remedial computer user like me.) Comes with long cord, scroll wheel, and is shaped comfortably. No complaints!


OK Mouse
Pros:
Ergonomically comfortable

Cons:

Thumb button does not work without drivers installed on XP. When I installed the driver I changed it to be a back button for browsing. Default is zoom.
Scroll wheel is of the smooth type meaning it does not click for every incremental turn. This is personal preference so it may be a pro for you.


a liitle heavy and maginifier button a little close to grip
Easy installation, a few form issue being weight and the fact the the magnifier button often gets hit accidentally. it is also a little bulk compared to other mice I have used

I got this keyboard/mouse to replace my logitech wave. This keyboard and mouse is excellent I had an issue with a sticky spot with the mouse and when I wrote to Amazon they immediately sent me out a new replacement no questions asked and the return shipping didn't cost a cent! The replacement works without a glitch. I can't say enough about Amazon's customer service and their quick responses to any inquiries! As for the logitech I had previously it was a piece of crap and not compatible with windows 7, it was constantly not responding and I had to restart my computer to get it to work. I would recommend the Microsoft wireless 5000 for windows 7 it works awesome and the blue track on the mouse is awesome!

Good K-board
I've had many keyboards over the years...but this is the best in the past decade or so. The mouse is a little jumpy on some surfaces (to spite the claims MS makes..even on the box itself) but all-in-all not such a big deal. Got it refurbished for bucks here on Amazon. Great deal for a very good (not great) keyboard.


Microsoft wireless Desktop 5000 keyboard/mouse
Extremely easy to install and set up. Good feel to the keyboard keys. Ergo-Keyboard is extremely comfortable to use. Lots of functionality for both keyboard and mouse.

Works like a charm with my Mac!
I purchased my keyboard and mouse at Costco even though it was a few bucks more than amazon. I wanted it ASAP since my old set was driving me crazy. The installation as incredibly easy and it has worked very well (so far) with my macbook and monitor. All of the function keys: safari home, mail, documents, and photos worked immediately. The extra 5 function keys are easily programable as well.

Keyboard feels great! Love the large center keys "G, H, B, N." Mouse feels pretty good, however it's not that accurate on glass (over the desk) and needed a mouse pad.

I definitely recommend this product to mac users who don't prefer the apple keyboard and mouse.

It's a great little headset for cordless phone use. This is my 2nd one that I bought, the first one I had for about a year before it gave out, but I use my headsets for 6 to 10 hours at a time on a daily basis, so I'm very hard on the sets that I buy. I like the extra cushion on the ear piece and I like that the microphone is flexible. It's a better head set then some of the others I've had in the past.

I didnt want to spend to much on a headset but wanted something that will last longer than taking it out of the box.
A co-worker has this for skyping at work and likes it alot. I use mine at home for gaming [not a die-hard gamer] and skype. Works perfect for this. The mic and earphones work very nice.
Headset is comfy for a few hours playing but for much longer [3+hr] it can get slightly uncomfortable.
Good news, while wearing them you cant hear other people in the house very well.
Bad news, while wearing them your apt to get into trouble for not hearing someone talking to you.

    An Excellent Choice
    This is my second acquisition of this brand and model, and I do not regret it at all. Both the first and second headsets have been good, moderately comfortable, and excellent sound quality. I've had multiple Logitech products (trackballs, keyboards, headsets), and have gotten years of use from them all. An excellent choice at the price point.
