Antennas Direct DB4 Multi-Directional HDTV Antenna
Saturday, June 5th, 2010I received the HD-4 and had it installed on my roof in minutes.
( I replaced my old uhf/vhf antenna using the old mast.)
The technology dictates that the antenna must be line of sight for digital, but my location is behind a number of trees. Much to my suprise the signal coming in is very strong, giving me a total of 11 digital channels with 3 in crystal clear HD!
This antenna is well made, I would reccomend it. One big improvment would be for them to be manufactured in the USA.

Color: Chrome
Model: DB4
The DB4 has become our most popular model because it is simply the best Mid Range HDTV antenna on the market. With an approximate 13.7 dB gain, it is one of the strongest multi-directional antennas available and performs consistently across the entire UHF spectrum. It even works well in areas where HD transmitters are in multiple directions.
Special Features: 13.7 dB Gain, Strong performance across entire UHF band (Channels 14-69).

wonderful antenna
I put this antenna in the attic and it works great! Surprisingly, I have found it works best if laid flat on the floor of the attic and not stood upright on a mounting bracket!...

Ditched expensive Cable - Got an antenna
Got rid of expensive Cable and bought an antenna.
Required additional purchases to convert to digital
but, one-time cost was not that much. Reception on
all three TVs in home are great!

Cheap TV
We are not cable, satellite or dish people. We are cheap. Daddy found this on line and on sale and went for it. He thought he would have to climb up on top of the house to mount it, but (wonder of wonders) he stuck it in the ground in front of our house and, voila, beautiful reception. So what more do you need? I know, only local channels, but wonderfully clear local channels, unless there is a storm coming.
Final word: good, easy, cheap, get it.

Awesome
I bought this for my parents in NYC who refuse to get cable or satellite tv. With a standard antenna that was over 10 ft wide, they barely received 3 channels on the new digital broadcasting. With this new compact antenna, they now receive virtually all the free HD and analog channels in the area; That's like four channels for each of the major stations and many more. It was very easy to put up and connect. It was so good, one of their neighbors asked me to buy them one as well.
